The Aam Aadmi Party is fully prepared to fight and win Jalandhar by-election and the party’s Punjab general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat claimed that Jalandhar by-poll victory will be a cornerstone in AAP’s big win in 2024 general elections.
According to Harchand Singh Barsat, thanks to pro-people policies of the party and excellent performance of the Mann government, AAP will win all 13 parliament seats of Punjab and victory in this by-election will be the beginning of it. Harchand Barsat expressed these views in a meeting with all Jalandhar MLAs, local party leaders and office bearers, where they also discussed the campaign strategy.
In this meeting headed by Harchand Singh Burst General Secretary AAP Punjab, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara Secretary Punjab, MLA Balkar Singh, MLA Raman Arora, MLA Inderjit Kaur Mann, MLA Hardeep Singh Mundian, MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sod, MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura, MLA Daljit Singh Grewal, MLA Dinesh Chadha, Amandeep Singh Mohi Chairman, Sarabjit Singh District President Rural, Mangal Singh Lok Sabha In-charge, Amritpal Singh District President (Urban), Sarabjit Singh District President (Rural), Surinder Singh Sodhi Constituency In-charge Jalandhar Cantt, Jeet Lal Bhatti Constituency Incharge, Principal Prem Kumar Constituency Incharge, Dines Dhall Constituency Incharge, Ratan Singh Kakarkala Constituency Incharge, Surinder Singh Sodhi and Atam Prakash Bablu took part to decide the roadmap to win this election.
Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat, along with Rajwinder Kaur Thiara (secretary) and Surinder Singh Sodhi (Halka incharge Jalandhar Cantt), also visited village Jamsher of Jalandhar Cantt constituency to inspect the crop losses there. Rajwinder Kaur Thiara assured the farmers that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is fully aware of the situation and their losses due to incessant rain and hailstorm and they’ll get compensation on time. She said that unlike previous governments Mann government is a pro-farmers government and farmers of Punjab are not alone in this hour of crisis.
