Jammu, Srinagar Airports

On day 150 of resumption of routine domestic operations in Jammu and Kashmir, 31 domestic flights with 3,592 passengers on board reached at Jammu and Srinagar Airports. 1263 passengers aboard 11 regular commercial flights reached at the Jammu Airport while 20 domestic flights with about 2329 passengers aboard  at Srinagar Airport.
Jammu Airport Authorities have received a total of 1,392 domestic flights with 141,481 passengers while Srinagar Airport Authorities have received 2,273 domestic flights with 3,07,406 passengers since 25th of May. The government has helped in coming back to about 3806 passengers from various countries to the Union Territory through flights in the times of global pandemic. After reaching, all the passengers were tested for the COVID-19 at both the airports and all necessary preventive protocols were followed. The Government has made enough arrangements for the arrival, screening, sampling and proper transportation of the passengers to the quarantine centers taking special care of guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prescribed by the Union Ministries of Civil Aviation and Health and Family Welfare.
