AAP gains strength in industrial city Ludhiana: Bhagwant Mann
Alliance of Congress, SAD-BSP and BJP would not be able to stand against decision of people: Raghav Chadha

In a jolt to the Congress, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal on Tuesday joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) along with hundreds of his associates. The joining of Daljit Singh Grewal has given a major impetus to the AAP in the industrial city of Ludhiana. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab president and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann, Punjab affairs co-incharge and MLA from Delhi, Raghav Chadha and MLA Prof Baljinder Kaur formally inducted and welcomed Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and his associates during a press conference held here.
Welcoming the leaders who joined the AAP, Bhagwant Mann said that the people from all walks of life in Punjab were joining the AAP as they were impressed by the pro-people policies of the party and the work of Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal government. He said that Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal is a well known personality of Ludhiana district. Grewal has been a councilor of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation for a long time and his wife Balwinder Kaur Grewal is also serving as a MC councilor. Mann said that the joining of Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal and his associates in the party, has given AAP; a great strength in the industrial city of Ludhiana.
Raghav Chadha said that the people of Punjab had made up their mind to change the government in the state and the alliance of Congress party, SAD-BSP and BJP could not stand against the decision of the people. He said that Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal is loved by the people of Ludhiana and with his support; a people’s government would be formed in Punjab this time. On the occasion, Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal said that due to the anti-Punjab and genocidal policies of the Congress government; he has decided to leave the Congress and join the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had always worked for the interest of the common man and the people would benefit from the formation of the AAP government in Punjab.
