People were surprised to see Kathak on Haryanvi song
Chandigarh, June 9 :- In the Khelo India Youth Games – 2021, while on one hand the grand event of sports is leaving the people in awe on the other, excellent entertainment in the form of cultural evening is keeping audiences enthralled. Champion Night is being organized every day at the Sports Expo set up in Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, in which a special Kathak Night was organized on Thursday.
On this occasion, Advisor to the Chief Minister, Haryana, Sh. Yogendera Chaudhary, Information, Secretary, Finance, Ms. Sophia Dahiya, Joint Director, Public Relations and Languages Department, Sh. Aman Kumar and other officials specially participated.
People were surprised to see kathak on Haryanvi song
A special moment during Kathak Night came when the artistes performed Kathak on a Haryanvi song, leaving the audience completely astonished as to how there can be Kathak on a Haryanvi song. But the artists had so beautifully created the fusion of Kathak on the Haryanvi song that whoever was present at the sports expo at that time could not stop rejoicing.
Performances on famous Sufi singer Kailash Kher’s song mesmerized the audiences. In addition, some artists performed Kathak fusion with aerobics style.
Ms. Sofia Dahiya informed that the Champions Night is being organized to provide a medium of entertainment to the players to de-stress after a hard day. During this, nights based on different arts and culture are being organized every day. In the same series, Kathak Fusion Night was also organized on Thursday.
During the event, the well-known RJ Manav played various games with the players and spectators and also gave them gifts. This Champions Night remains the center of special attraction for the people.
