Krishi Vigyan Kendra Announces Schedule for Farmer Training Courses

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), located at CIPHET, Abohar, has released the schedule for various upcoming farmer training courses. These courses are designed to benefit farmers and women farmers, who can enroll and gain valuable skills. Registrations can be completed at the KVK office in Fazilka, situated at CIPHET, Abohar.

Dr. Arvind Alawat, Head of KVK, shared details about the training programs:

1. Food Storage and Safety Standards: A three-day training program for small-scale entrepreneurs will be conducted from January 29 to January 31, 2025.
2. Mushroom Cultivation: A five-day training on creating mushroom farms for small-scale production will be held from February 27 to March 2, 2025.
3. Organic Management and Soil Health: In March, a five-day course focusing on organic farming and soil health management will be organized.
4. Food Value Addition: A three-day training for small-scale entrepreneurs and self-help groups on food value addition is scheduled for March.
5. Post-Harvest Storage and Packaging of Fruits: From March 6 to March 8, 2025, a course on post-harvest storage and packaging of fruits will be conducted.
