KVM celebrates 82nd Founder’s Day with great Elan

Ludhiana, 18 October:

Festivity,  Gaiety, fervour, melody and great elan marked the Founder’s Day Celebrations at Kundan Vidya Mandir Sr Sec School Ludhiana. Every year KVM celebrates the birth anniversary of its founder Late Shri Kundan Lal ji with great fervour and reverence.
On this 82nd Founder’s Day celebration, Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker of, the Punjab Legislative Assembly was the chief guest.  He was accorded a grand welcome and he received a guard of honour presented by the NCC and Iron Eagle Cadets.

Mr.A.P. Sharma the school principal,   Col.  Rajesh Jasiyal, the manager school managing committee along with other members of school Management and Trust graced the occasion.
The school head girl , Pranika formally welcomed the chief guest and then a video presentation was given on the life of the founder of the school, Shri  Kundan Lal ji.

After lighting the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, a thought provoking programme, based on the theme  “Ham hain Bemisaal” was put up by the Kundanites. A series of scintillating performances were staged which includes  Shiv Stuti, orchestra, Chaturanga-Sur Lai Taal our Bhav ka Sangam, Mime on mobile use,  folk dances of different states, Singers  Ensemble, English drama based on  Dr. Abdul Kalam etc.  These mesmerizing and melodious performances left the audience spellbound.

The School Principal Mr. A.P. Sharma and the Head boy, Kanav Sood, presented the chronicles of the year gone by and shared the glory and achievements won by students and staff in the form of a school report.

The Chief Guest  Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan lauded the efforts of the school team and admired the thought-provoking and magnificent performances. He urged the students to strive hard to achieve their goals. He also emphasized that actions are much stronger than words and we must believe in actions, not mere words.  He motivated them saying “Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.  So give your best to be the best.”
The  manager school managing committee, Col. (Retd.) Rajesh Jasial proposed a vote of thanks.
The grand finale “Hum hain Bemisaal echoed and reverberated in the auditorium and  National Anthem marked the closing of this Gala event.
