TLSC Tral conducted an awareness programme under Access to Justice Scheme programmes on topics, ‘POCSO Act, Child Marriage and Rights of Children besides Dowry Prohibition Act’.
The programme took place under the supervision of Principal and Sessions Judge Pulwama, Mohammad Ibrahim Wani at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Tral. The awareness camp organized in accordance to the directions of SLSA, under which the District Legal Services Authority has organized many other legal awareness programmes.
On the occasion, resource persons informed the participants about the schemes available under the legal aid services and spoke on laws relating to offences especially POCSO Act, Child Marriage and Rights of Children besides Dowry Prohibition Act. Among others, various social activists, Aganwari workers and locals of the area became a part of awareness programme
