A loan assistance of Rs 3.50 crore has been sanctioned to support 40 aspiring entrepreneurs of Kishtwar district under different self-employment schemes. Forming the part of the part of B2V3 Self Employment Program, and My Town-My Pride and Economic Package, the motive is to make a positive impact on Self Employment of the youth and women entrepreneurs of the district. Also Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik also gave away the loan sanction letters to 20 aspiring entrepreneurs at a felicitation function. The ADDC said that a total 40 cases have been provided under B2V3 Self Employment Programme, Economic Package and My Town-My Pride. A total of 312 applications were received, out of which 40 have been sanctioned bearing an amount of Rs 3.50 cr approximately. The beneficiaries were identified under B2V3 across 136 panchayats of district. Pertinent to mention here that a target of covering at least 2 persons in a Panchayat for self employment was set under the program. He said the bank representatives were also a part of these events as a result of which administration has been able to identify and sanction these cases within a shortest period of time.
