If really in pain, then Sukhi Randhawa and Tripat Bajwa should sever ties with ruling Congress: Harpal Singh Cheema
Accused Congress ministers for repeated sacrilege by doing drama
Batala, August 7 2021
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) senior leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Harpal Singh Cheema on Saturday visited the holy land of Batala and appealed to both the ministers of the area, Sukhjinder Singh Sukhi Randhawa and Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, to stop playing tricks in the name of justice in case of desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, because the inferiority of letters does not bring justice, but rather it makes the wounds more painful.
Harpal Singh Cheema was in attendance at Wadala Granthian at a function organised by party’s Batala constituency in-charge Sherry Kalsi. On the occasion, district president Kashmir Singh, Youth Wing district vice-president Mandeep Mitha, president of various blocks Balraj Singh, Dr Jagdish Singh, Gurdarshan Singh, Rajinder Singh and other prominent leaders were present.
Challenging the Cabinet Ministers Sukhi Randhawa and Tripat Bajwa, Cheema said, “If you are really in pain of not getting justice in the case of desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, don’t waste time writing letters to your Chief Minister/Home Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. Repent and leave both the ministership and the Congress, because you have also enjoyed power equally for four and a half years. You are equally responsible for the failures of the Congress government in sacrilege and all other matters. Don’t try to fool the people. People will ask you for answers to these questions from place to place, be prepared.”
