CHANDIGARH 12- MAY-2022 :-
To mark the celebration of National Technology Day, the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh organised a Declamation Contest on the theme ‘Technology for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth’. Organised under the aegis of Institution Innovation Council of the college, the contest witnessed enthusiastic participation of students. The participants eloquently shared their views on the theme, stressing on the imperative role of technology in the promotion of growth that is both inclusive and sustainable.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava gave away the prizes to winners. Speaking on this occasion, she emphasised that such events build confidence, team spirit and leadership qualities in students. She added that the youth should get inspiration from the contributions and achievements of scientists, researchers, engineers and all others associated with the field of science and technology.
