Haryana wins highest number of medals in Khelo India Youth Games

Chandigarh June 12- Haryana has the highest number of 111 medals in the Khelo India Youth Games being held in Panchkula, Haryana, including 37 gold, 34 silver and 40 bronze medals.  Although, Maharashtra has gone above Haryana with 38 gold till 5 pm today, but in total medals, it is trailing behind Haryana, which has a total of 102 medals.

Talking about archery, Haryana players have won one gold and one silver medal in archery.  In athletics, Haryana has won three gold, six silver and five bronze medals, while in badminton, Haryana players have won one gold and one bronze.  Similarly, Haryana players have got two gold and six bronze medals in cycling and one bronze medal in football.

If we talk about Gatka, Haryana has got one Gold and three Silver medals in Gatka.  Haryana won a bronze medal in gymnastics.  At the same time, in hockey, the players of Haryana won gold.  If we talk about Judo, Haryana players have won one Gold, three Silver and two Bronze medals in Judo while in Kabaddi one Gold and one Silver medal.  Similarly, Haryana players have won three gold, two silver medals and two bronze medals in shooting.

Similarly, in swimming, Haryana has won two gold and two silver medals, while in table tennis, Haryana has bagged one silver medal.  Haryana has also won bronze medal in Tennis.  Haryana has got one silver and three bronze medals in Thang Ta, while Haryana players have won two silver medals in volleyball.  Haryana players have won four Gold, two Silver and one Bronze medal in Weightlifting, whereas in Wrestling, players have won 16 Gold, 10 Silver and 12 Bronze medals for Haryana.  Similarly, Haryana has got one gold and five bronze medals in Yogasana.
