Most wanted criminal with bounty of Rs 25000 arrested

Chandigarh, June 30 – The Special Task Force of Haryana Police has succeeded in arresting a most wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 from district Sonipat.

To evade arrest, the most wanted criminal regularly changed his hideouts in places like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Gurugram.

While giving information here today, a spokesperson of Haryana Police said that the arrested accused has been identified as Karamvir, a resident of Tihar Malik district Sonepat.

The arrested criminal alongwith his associates had killed a resident of Mirzapur Khedi village in the police station Baroda area in 2012. The court had declared him a proclaimed offender in 2012. A reward of Rs 25,000 was declared on his arrest.

The accused arrested has been produced in the court and sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
