MP Rajya Sabha Sanjeev Arora calls on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan
Ludhiana, September 16, 2022:
Member Parliament Rajya Sabha from Punjab Shri Sanjeev Arora, on Friday, called on the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.
Shri Arora termed this meeting a “courtesy call”. During his meeting, he congratulated Smt. Droupadi Murmu on being elected as President of India. He also briefed President about himself, his work, and social and other activities, and discussed some current issues. He laid stressed that the country needs some immediate reforms as far as the health sector is concerned. He pointed out that there is a dire need to make affordable healthcare available for every Indian, especially for indoor patients in the hospitals.
He also discussed the rising dreaded diseases such as Cancer across the country. He also briefed the Hon’ble President about a charitable trust named “Krishna Pran Breast Cancer Charitable Trust” being run by him. This Trust is named after his parents and it has provided free treatment to around 170 cancer patients.
Shri Arora remarked, “The Hon’ble President, Smt. Droupadi Murmu is a pleasant and down-to-earth personality from a humble background.” She has reached the highest position possible in our country through her struggle in personal and public life.
