Mubarak Shah Nagvi takes stock of public issues at Drass
KARGIL JANUARY 08, 2021: Acting Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Mubarak Shah Nagvi during his visit to Drass took stock of public issues today.
At Tourist Dak Bungalow Drass, a number of public delegations met the Acting CEC and projected their developmental needs and grievances.
A delegation of laborers from Drass working in Border Roads Organization (BRO) called on the EC who raised the issue of their re-engagement in BRO works.
The Acting CEC assured to take up the issue with the BRO authorities to ensure resolution in due course of time.
Moreover, Labor Officer Drass took up some issues of laborers with the Acting CEC and he was assured to resolve the problems.
During the course of the visit, a decision with regard to the formation of a committee for developmental works in Drass was taken under the chairmanship of the Acting CEC with members from every village of Drass Sub Division. It was decided on the occasion that the committee will oversee development activities in the sub division.
Meanwhile, a number of employees of Kargil Renewable Energy Development Agency (KREDA) working in Drass also met the Acting CEC and discussed the issue of their pending salary to which the Acting CEC assured that the matter will be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate resolution.
SDM Drass Asgar Ali, 2IC Project Vijayak Drass, Sub Divisional Officers, Sarpanchs, Panchs and Nambardars were also present on the occasion.
