Mukh Mantri Punjab Motia Mukt Abhiyan to be launched in state on November 26: Civil Surgeon

Ludhiana, November 21:
With a view to ensure better healthcare facilities to the people and on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, ‘Mukh Mantri Punjab Motia Mukt Abhiyan’ would be launched in the state on November 26, 2021.

While providing information, Civil Surgeon Dr SP Singh informed that as part of the massive initiative announced by Chief Minister Punjab, eye camps would be organized wherein the eye sight of the people would be thoroughly examined and those found suffering with cataract shall be operated upon after a period of 15 days free of cost.

“The transportation facility including pick up and drop back shall also be provided to the people along with the refreshments for the people undergoing operations”, said the Civil Surgeon,  adding that free spectacles would also be provided to those operated upon. At least one camp will be held in each Tehsil in the month of December. The campaign shall continue till 31st December 2021.

He appealed the people of the district to come forward and avail full benefit of this initiative.
