Guide line will be issued soon
Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that in order to enhance the quality of education in the state, now private colleges and universities will also have NAAC grading. Soon a guide-line will be issued for this. Dr. Yadav was reviewing the departmental activities on Tuesday. Dr. Yadav said that the guidelines have been issued by NAAC that colleges and universities which have completed one academic year will be eligible to apply for Provisional Accrediation Certificate. Till now it was a system that only those institutions which have completed six years could apply for NAAC certification.
Minister Dr. Yadav said that soon a Yuva Samvad program would be organized in the hospitality of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Chouhan. He said that preparations are also being made to make all the 238 colleges of the state multi-faculty in the context of the new education policy. In order to give priority to agriculture in the academic campus, it is necessary to include related subjects like organic farming, horticulture etc. in the curriculum. This year about 75 thousand students have chosen the subject of organic farming. Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is an agricultural state. With the implementation of the new education policy, the youth will now give a new dimension to the concept of self-reliant Madhya Pradesh by using new modern agricultural techniques.
Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a virtual discussion with the Vice Chancellors of government universities regarding the preparations for the upcoming examinations. He congratulated everyone for successfully conducting the semester examinations offline. Dr. Yadav said that online examinations had to be conducted for the last two years due to Corona, but to maintain the quality of education, it is necessary to conduct offline examinations. This is a big responsibility. Dr. Yadav said that make complete preparations for the examinations to be held in the month of March. In view of the situation of Corona, prepare to conduct examinations in other government buildings also. He said that changes should be made in the centers of government and private colleges for transparency in examinations. Arrange for invigilators of other colleges also during the examinations.
