Newly constructed building of Tila Jamalpura police station dedicated

Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra on Thursday dedicated the new Tila Jamalpura police station building constructed with an amount of about Rs. 1.75 crore. He said that the government is working continuously for Police empowerment and modernization. Infrastructural development is also being done. Dr. Mishra said that the new police station building will help boost the efficiency of officers and employees.

Home Minister Dr. Mishra informed that in view of modernization and police empowerment, facilities like ‘FIR Aapke Dwar’ and ‘e-FIR’ have been started. Women’s police stations have been established in all the districts of the state and help desks have been set up in all the police stations to solve the problems of women. Due to excellent action of police personnel, 38 criminals have been given capital punishment on charges of heinous crimes against women. In place of woolen caps, cotton caps have been supplied to the policemen for summer season. Out of turn promotions have been given to 84 policemen for their excellent performance. 39 thousand 185 police personnel who have done better work during the Corona crisis have been awarded the Corona Warrior Medal.

The new building of Tila Jamalpura police station has been constructed at a cost of Rs one crore 73 lakh 18 thousand. The building is three storeyed. The police station building has facilities including station in-charge room, duty officer room, one female and one male lockup, store room, record room, rest room, armoury, sub-inspector room, interrogation room, women’s helpdesk, reporting room and reception room.
