Leh, May 08: National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. donated 4 fully equipped and fabricated Critical care life support ambulances for highway incident management to the Union Territory of Ladakh. The ambulances were handed over to the UT administration after duly inspected by the Chief Medical Officer, Leh.
In a short event at the premises of the office of Deputy Commissioner Leh, the ambulances were flagged off by the Chairman/CEC LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson; Member Parliament Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Principal Secretary, UT Ladakh, Pawan Kotwal; DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Shrikant Suse, CMO Leh, Dr Motup Dorje, General Manager, NHIDCL RO Ladakh, Prashant Surela and officials/staffs of NHIDCL.
All the officials of UT Ladakh extended their gratitude to NHIDCL for their noble gesture and hope that such contributions from the stakeholders will amplify the government’s work in fighting together against critical situations such as the current pandemic due to COVID-19.
