The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has termed the decision of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to regulate the fees and put an end to the arbitrariness of private schools in Punjab as historic. Appreciating the decision, senior AAP leader and spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang said that this decision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will prove to be revolutionary for the education system of Punjab.

Malwinder Singh Kang said that parents used to face many difficulties due high fees and no check on private schools’ fees hike. People were demanding for so long to regulate private schools’ fees. But the previous governments did not pay any attention to it. With this decision, lakhs of parents of Punjab will get relief during admissions for upcoming session and their financial burden won’t be increased. Kang welcomed Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s historic decision and called it a decision that will bring revolutionary changes in the primary and secondary education.
