Officers, BDC Chairpersons, PRI members, local people attend webcast of PM Narendra Modi’s launch of distribution of e-property cards under SWAMITVA scheme on National Panchayati Raj Day
KARGIL APRIL 24, 2021: Officers of Revenue and Rural Department, BDC Chairpersons, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Nambardars and local people of various blocks in the district attended webcast of the launch of the distribution of e-property cards under the SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas) scheme by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on National Panchayati Raj Day today through video conferencing.
Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kargil Ghulam Muhammad, District Panchayat Officer (DPO), Kargil Shabir Hussain, Block Development Officer (BDO) Sankoo Arifa Banoo, BDO Shargole Dr Ghulam Mehdi, BDC Chairpersons from various blocks, Sarpanchs, Panchs besides other concerned officers attended the webcast at the district headquarters which was held at the National Informatics Center (NIC), Kargil.
Similar webcast sessions were also held at various other blocks including Sankoo, Chiktan, Tai Suru and other blocks.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the webcast, officers of Rural Development, BDC Chairpersons and other PRI members discussed various developmental needs of their Panchayats including among others the establishment of Panchayat Model villages in every block, proper implementation of various schemes on the ground level so that the common people avail the maximum benefits of the government schemes.
