Haryana to host grand celebrations of 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on April 24, in Panipat
The State Government team led by Sports Minister and Karnal MP paid obeisance at the Golden Temple
Chandigarh, April 18 – Ahead of the state-level 400th Prakash Purab celebrations of Hindi Ki Chadar- Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to be held at Panipat on April 24, 2022, a team of the Haryana Government led by the Minister of State for Sports Minister and Youth Affairs, Sh. Sandeep Singh today reached Golden Temple to bring the holy water from the Sarovar(holy tank).
The team including Karnal MP, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia and Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal firstly paid obeisance at the Golden Temple and gave the programme invitation at Sri Darbar Sahib.
Sh. Sandeep Singh said that on April 24, the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji would be celebrated in a grand manner in Sector-13,17 of Panipat. Today a team of State Government visited Sri Darbar Sahib to bring holy water for this programme.
“We really feel fortunate as we got a chance to bring this holy water to Haryana. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the State Government has been celebrating the birth and death anniversary of the Gurus of all religions in a grand manner and now the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is being celebrated,” said Sh. Sandeep Singh.
He further informed that for this programme, Sh. Manohar Lal would also send an invitation to the Punjab Chief Minister, Sh. Bhagwant Mann. Saints and Mahatmas are actively participating in this religious programme.
Karnal MP, Sh. Sanjay Bhatia said that he is really fortunate to get the opportunity of visiting Sri Darbar Sahib to invite the Sangat of entire Punjab for this holy festival. Sangat arriving on the occasion of Prakash Purab in Panipat will also be given holy water which today has been carried from Darbar Sahib. To ensure that the coming generations get inspired by the sacrifices made by our great gurus, maximum participation should be ensured by the devotees. An exhibition related to the history of Gurus will also be organized in the programme, said Sh. Bhatia.
The team also visited the Gurudwara Guru Ka Mahal, the birthplace of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to pay obeisance and prayed for the prosperity of the state.
World famous Ragi and Dhadi Jatha to reach the programme
For this state-level function, world famous Ragi and Dhadi Jatha will be attending the programme. The Ragi Bhai Chamanjit Singh Ji Lal, Bhai Balwinder Singh Rangila Ji, Bhai Davinder Singh Sodhi Ji, Bhai Gagandeep Singh from Sri Ganganagar will perform in this religious programme. Besides this, Dhadi Jatha Nirmal Singh Noor Ji will mesmerize the devotees with Amritmayi Kirtan, Gurumat discourses and Guru History.
Devotees from all over the country to attend the programme
On the occasion of the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji being celebrated in Panipat, devotees not only from the Haryana but from all over the country will attend the programme. In a bid to ensure maximum participation of the devotees in this programme, the Chief Minister, during public meetings and programmes has been personally inviting people. Besides this, the Ministers of the State are also inviting people through various local programmes.
‘Guru ka langar’ to run round the clock
For the 400th celebrations scheduled to be organized in Sector-13, 17, Panipat, an arrangement for running round the clock ‘Guru ka langar’ has been made with adequate seating arrangement in around more than 60 acres of open space. The langar service will be done by a saint-great person and local Sangat. The preparations for this have almost been completed. Sant Samaj and other organizations are working continuously on this.
