Parivar Pehchan Patra will be the basis of change in the system in the state: Manohar Lal
Chandigarh, January 6: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has said that Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) will be the basis of change in the system in the state.
The Chief Minister said this while presiding over a review meeting of Additional Deputy Commissioners of the state regarding PPP held at Haryana Niwas today.
He said that the verified data on PPP will form the basis for delivering benefits of government services. So far 114 SARAL services have been linked to PPP and soon the benefit of 544 services will be given under PPP in the state, he added. He said that Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal will also be linked to PPP from January 11.
He said that the work of eradicating corruption in government funded schemes will also be done through PPP. He said that Antyodaya is the first priority of our government. Therefore, the process for PPP must be completed with honesty and integrity, he added.
The Chief Minister also directed to complete the verification of the claims made by 12 lakh families about having an annual income of less than Rs 50,000 by January 31. The Chief Minister also gave directions to set up local committees between January 11 and 13. A government official of Group B or C rank will be a part of these committees. The committees will consist of an operator, a college student, a social worker (to be nominated by the Deputy Commissioner) and a volunteer. This committee will visit 250 to 300 homes and investigate. An officer will be appointed on Deputation of Civil Resources and Information Department (CRID) for every 15 committees who will work under the leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner.
Manohar Lal said that Haryana is the only state in the country, where the PPP Scheme is being implemented for the development of every person. He said that the economic development of the people standing on the last rung of the society is our goal. The PPP will prove to be a milestone to achieve this goal.
Addressing the Additional Deputy Commissioners, he said that the aim of the Government is not to rule over the people but to work on the lines of Antyodaya. He said that to fulfil the dream of change of the system, on December 25, 2014, the State government started CM window and e-registration so that the system becomes transparent. This system was implemented with the vision to provide solutions to problems of the people sitting in their home. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this existing system proved to be beneficial.
He said that after implementing Ease of Doing Business, we are now moving towards Ease of Living. He said that after the verification by the committees, the benefits of the schemes will be delivered to the eligible persons. Along with the verification of the income claim, caste details recorded in PPP will also be examined. Patwari will conduct this verification and upload the verified data on PPP, he added. He said that after this data is uploaded, there will be no need to travel anywhere for the caste certificate. Additional Deputy Commissioner of every district will supervise this work.
On this occasion, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, DS Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, V. Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Deputy Principal Secretary, Ashima Brar, Secretary, Civil Resources and Information Department, Sophia Dahiya and Additional Secretary, Citizen Resources Information Department, Rani Nagar were present.
