PEC ਨੇ 27ਵੇਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਯੁਵਕ ਉਤਸਵ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik, Maharashtra today. Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh also participated in the 27th National Youth Festival 2024 today on 12th January, 2024. Director of PEC Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia joined this festival virtually to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda along with Registrar Col. (Veteran) R.M. Joshi, Dr. D.R. Prajapati (DSA), all the Faculty members and students of the institutions. 
 
Director Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia shared the teachings of Swami Vivekananda on National Youth Day. He also shared some of the quotations of Swami Vivekananda, to inspire the students to believe in oneself and to be true to our ownself, in the words ”Be Thyself and Act Thyself”. He also interacted with the students and encouraged them to share and imbibe the life experiences of Swami Vivekananda. He also motivated them to read biographies and life histories of great personalities.
 
The Prime Minister said that today marks the occasion of India’s youth power and is dedicated to the great personality of Swami Vivekanand who filled the county with new energy and enthusiasm during the period of slavery. Shri Modi conveyed his best wishes to all youth on the occasion of National Youth Day which is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand. He also noted the birth anniversary of Rajmata Jijabai, the symbol of India’s women power and expressed gratitude for being present in Maharashtra on this occasion.
 

12th of January 2024 marks the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, and is celebrated as National Youth Day.
