CM Window also taking strict cognizance against those ignoring Lokayukta decision
An employee returns Rs 15,750 for wrong claim made for child education allowance
Chandigarh, March 31 – The CM Window launched by the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal since the year 2016 is proving to be a simple, easy and effective method of redressing and resolving every single grievance received from any section of the society across Haryana. Because of this innovative and effective redressal process, people now need not make several rounds of the government offices.
Sharing more details, OSD to the Chief Minister, Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal, who has been continuously reviewing and monitoring the complaints received at the CM Window from Chandigarh Headquarters, said that this redressal system has given ‘easy access’ to the people as the Chief Minister himself regularly takes the feedback of complaints.
He further shared that a complainant namely Ramgarh Pandava Rajmal was continuously complaining against the clerk Ashok Kumar Rohilla working in the Community Health Centre, Kalayat in Kaithal district alleging that the said employee is involved in many types of corruption works.
The complainant had shared that the clerk has been taking benefits of child education allowance despite not fulfilling the prescribed norms, he added.
Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal said that as per the complaint, the complainant had said that any Government employee is allowed to take the benefits of this allowance only for two children till class 12th. But the said employee, with the connivance of the Drawing and Disbursing Officer and other employees of the department, has taken child education allowance for four children.
Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal said that an inquiry was ordered by the Kaithal Deputy Commissioner in which the clerk was found guilty.
He further shared that the said employee has also ignored the decision of Haryana Lokayukta. News about this was also published in the local newspapers of Kaithal. Even after that the complainant filed complaint number 0529981.
Strict cognizance was taken by the Chief Minister’s Office and clarification was sought from the office of Director General, Health Services, Haryana and CMO Kaithal, shared Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal.
The said employee was found guilty of violating the Haryana Civil Services Rules-2016 (Punishment and Appeal) and causing damage to the exchequer.
In view of all this, clerk Ashok Kumar deposited the amount of Rs 15,750 wrongly taken for the child education allowance of two children through e-challan.
Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal informed that so far 9,41,802 complaints have been registered on CM Window, out of which 8,73,808 complaints have been resolved. Action is underway on some of these complaints.
He said that in the year 2022 as many as 12,4271 complaints and suggestions have been received, out of which 85,580 have been resolved and clarification has been sought from the concerned departments on 10,119 complaints. Apart from this, 15,063 complaints are old and are pending and 5,559 complaints have not been found fit.
He said that the CM Window has set many examples before the people of Haryana by resolving the years-old pending complaints. This has been discussed in newspapers as well as on social media platforms and people are expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister’s Office personally or by writing a letter.
