KUPWARA, OCTOBER 17
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Dr. Bilal Mohiddin Bhat attended a meeting of concerned officers to discuss coming winter in the border sub division. The meeting discussed threadbare various arrangements vis-à-vis, dumping of ration and essential commodities, availability of men and machinery for snow clearance and macadamization of pending links besides, availability of buffer stock of transformers needed during the winter season.
The SDM told all concerned officers to work with zeal and coordination and make sure that the fool proof arrangements are done so that people of the border area do not suffer during the winter season. Among others, Executive Engineer, R&B, SSD Tangdar, BDOs of Tangdar and Teetwal besides, officers of PDD, PMGSY were also attended the meeting.
