Presidential poll material kept in strong room by getting its complete videography done

Election for the President of India is to be held on 18th July

Chandigarh, July 13 – Presidential poll material reached the Haryana Legislative Assembly on Wednesday amidst full security. The election for the President of India is to be held on July 18, 2022. This election material has been kept in the strong room set up in the Assembly. The responsibility of its security has been entrusted to the commandos of Haryana Police. The material was sent from Delhi to Chandigarh by plane, which was brought from Chandigarh Airport to Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

Giving information in this regard, Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Anurag Agarwal said that the Election Commission has sent election material to Chandigarh on Wednesday for the Presidential election to be held on July 18, 2022. This material was received by Assistant Returning Officer, Sh. Vishnu Dev and Assistant Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Sunil. This material was brought to the Haryana Vidhan Sabha amidst full security. This includes voter boxes, ballot papers and other election materials related to the Presidential election.

Sh. Agarwal said that this material was kept in the strong room in the presence of Assistant Returning Officer, Sh. Rajender Kumar Nandal, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Apurv for the Presidential election. Haryana Police commandos have been deployed for security by sealing the strong room. Sh. Anurag Agarwal informed that the entire process from Chandigarh Airport to sealing of the strong room has been videographed.
