The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi appreciated efforts of all those involved to promote Meri Maati Mera Desh initiative.
Savitribai Phule Pune University has organised Selfie With Meri Maati campaign under Meri Maati Mera Desh initiative.
In this campaign more than 25 lakh students from 7000 colleges of 40 universities participated and this campaign got recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records due to huge participation.
Responding to the X threads of Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Sinde about this campaign, the Prime Minister posted on X;
“या प्रयत्नामध्ये सहभागी असलेल्या सर्वांची मी प्रशंसा करतो, ज्यांनी #MeriMaatiMeraDesh चळवळीला मोठ्या प्रमाणावर चालना दिली आहे आणि एका प्रकारे राष्ट्रीय अभिमान आणि एकात्मतेच्या भावनेला प्रोत्साहित केले आहे.”
