Proceedings of Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum of UHBVN to be held on December 28
Chandigarh, December 25: The proceedings of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) will be held on December 28, 2020, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at the Executive Engineer’s Office, Panchkula. The Chairman and members of the forum will participate in it.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the members of the forum will listen to all kinds of problems of consumers, mainly related to billing, voltage, metering complaints, disconnection and connection, interruptions in power supply, safety, lack of credibility, and violation of orders given by Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, etc.
However, punishment and penalty in the cases related to power thefts and unauthorized use of electricity under section 126 and section 135 to 139 of Electricity Act and the cases related to investigation and accidents under section 161 will not be heard by the Forum. The spokesperson has appealed to all consumers to take advantage of this opportunity to get their grievances redressed.
