Punjab Government shifts 70 employees of Hindu Cooperative Bank in various cooperative banks

Employees shifted following directions of RBI to cut bank expenses

Chandigarh, June 4:

The cooperation department of Punjab Government, on Thursday, shifted as many as 70 employees of Hindu Cooperative Bank Pathankot to various bank branches of the department. Punjab Cooperation minister Mr. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, in press statement, said that following the directions of Reserve Bank of India to cut the expenses of Hindu Cooperative Bank, the decision has been taken by the government. He added that the shifted staff includes Field officers, field assistants, clerks, junior auditors, peons etc.
