Haryana peaceful during Rail Roko protest

Chandigarh, Oct 18 – The six-hour nationwide ‘Rail Roko’ protest call given by Sanyukat Kisan Morcha passed off peacefully in Haryana.

Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that impact of the Rail Roko protest was seen in the form of blockades of railway tracks in 47 locations across the state that hindered the running of trains causing inconvenience to passengers.

The Rail Roko call did not have any impact in districts Gurugram, Faridabad, Narnaul and Nuh in the state.

No violent incident was reported in the state.
