Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai transferred pending paddy bonuses for the Kharif marketing years 2014-15 and 2015-16 to the bank accounts of farmers of Raipur district on December 25. This move has sparked widespread joy among the farming community, who are expressing their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai. The distribution includes a total paddy bonus amount of Rs 264 crore 79 lakh 45 thousand, covering Rs 130 crore 50 lakh 62 thousand for 84, 322 farmers for the year 2014-15 and Rs 134 crore 28 lakh 83 thousand for 86, 081 farmers for the year 2015-16.

One of the beneficiaries, Farmer Shri Ravi Sudan Patel from Bendri village, shared that he received a paddy bonus of Rs 87,960. Expressing his appreciation, Shri Patel mentioned his plans to use the bonus to install a wire fence in the field and lay pipelines to facilitate irrigation. He thanked the Chief Minister for releasing the pending paddy bonus, besides stating that the increased support price and the bonus release have significantly boosted income from farming. Patel believes that such initiatives will also encourage youth to take a keen interest in agriculture. Another farmer, Shri Ripu Sudan Patel, received a paddy bonus of Rs 92,687, which he intends to invest in improving farming facilities, including laying pipes in the field and purchasing a mobile phone for his children.

Shri Nohar Joshi from Parsatti village received a pending paddy bonus of Rs 86,800. Joshi plans to use the amount to repair his house and invest in farming activities. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister, mentioning the happiness and satisfaction felt by farmers upon receiving the bonus. Shri Dhansai Sahu, another beneficiary, received a pending paddy bonus of Rs 92,000, enabling him to pay the installment of his tractor. Shri Sahu extended his thanks to the Chief Minister, stating that farmers are delighted with the bonus, and such initiatives will propel them towards progress and prosperity.
