Chandigarh, January 11: Haryana Power Minister, Ranjit Singh, has termed the events that occurred during the Kisan-Mahapanchayat at Kaimla in Karnal on January 10, 2021, as unfortunate.
While responding to the media questions here today, the Minister said that such incidents should not happen in a democracy. Chief Minister, Manohar Lal kept his patience and has shown his political maturity by not taking action against anyone said, Ranjit Singh.
The Minister said that the Chief Minister has always considered Farmers as his own brothers and was expecting that the farmers would hold a symbolic protest only, but some people had created chaos in the event, which they should have not done.
The Minister said that those who had gone there should have listened to the Chief Minister.
