Recruitment process to initiate soon on vacant posts in AYUSH Dispensaries and Hospitals

The recruitment process has been started for 763 vacant posts of medical officers in AYUSH dispensaries and hospitals of the state. The recruitment advertisement has been issued by the Public Service Commission. Principal Secretary Ayush held a point-wise discussion with Madhya Pradesh Medical University, Jabalpur regarding other problems of undergraduate and postgraduate students studying in AYUSH College. The representative of the university said that the problems of the Sangh would be resolved by April this year.

In relation to the 5-point demands placed by the union of graduates, post graduates and resident doctors studying in government AYUSH colleges, senior officers of the AYUSH department have said that the discrepancy has arisen as the scholarships given to graduates, resident doctors and postgraduates of the state was not revised in time. In this regard, according to the order of the High Court, it has been written to the concerned department to make the scholarship honorarium of Ayurveda scholars at par with the scholars of modern medical system of the state, to link it with the consumer price index and to increase the scholarship every year on the basis of consumer price index. Prompt action is being taken by the concerned department after examining it.

Sangh representatives have also been told that for the separation of AYUSH branch from Madhya Pradesh Medical University, Jabalpur and establishment of new AYUSH University in Madhya Pradesh like other states, it is being asked to continuously write a letter to the concerned department and take immediate action.

The Sangh officials had also demanded in relation to the rights of AYUSH doctors to use the emergency allopathy system in Madhya Pradesh. A notification has been issued to make provision in this regard in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette.
