The newly constituted Parliamentary Board of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will visit all the four assembly constituencies to which by-elections are to be held to secure ground level feedback and elicit the views of party workers for finalizing party candidates.
Disclosing this here, Parliamentary Board member Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said the Board led by its Chairman Balwinder Singh Bhundar would visit Chabbewal (Hoshiarpur) tomorrow, Dera Baba Nanak (Gurdaspur) on Aug 27 and Barnala on August 28. He said the date for the Gidderbaha visit would be finalized shortly.
Dr Cheema said the Board would hold a joint meeting with prominent workers of the respected constituency besides holding one to one discussions with local leadership. Other members of the board include Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Janmeja S Sekhon, Gulzar Singh Ranike and Heera Singh Gabria.
