In Continuation of the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra, MLA Derabassi Kuljit Singh Randhawa Departed the district’s Ninth Bus from Ballopur village of Lalru to Sri Amritsar Sahib-Talwandi Sabo on the sacred day of Maghi. He said that the noble cause initiated by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is proving benevolent for the Pilgrims. The bus carried 43 pilgrims who proceeded to Sri Amritsar Sahib-Talwandi Sabo religious circuit for a two-day long pilgrimage. The devotees were handed over kits comprising a blanket, Pillow, Bed-sheet and a toiletry kit before boarding the bus. MLA Kuljeet Singh Randhawa further said that the other religious circuits designed for this pilgrimage included Sri Anandpur Sahib-Sri Amritsar Sahib, Mata Naina Devi-Sri Anandpur Sahib-Mata Chintpurni-Mata Jawala Ji, Sri Anandpur Sahib- Talwandi Sabo and Talwandi Sabo-Sri Anandpur Sahib, Salasar Dham-Khatu-Shayam Dham etc. MLA Randhawa Said that each assembly constituency has been allocated eight buses for the first phase.
He said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has a clear vision for the Punjab People in implementing pro-people policies. be it free power of up to 600 units to domestic consumers, offers of jobs on merits, fight against corruption, door-to-door delivery of citizen-centric services by dialling 1076, Aam Aadmi Clinics to improve health services etc. He said that boarding and lodging besides travelling is free of cost under the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra scheme. The pilgrims also appreciated the efforts of the Punjab Government to provide them the opportunity to visit religious places free of cost. They equivocally said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann understood the compulsion of the needy people who could not visit their sacred religious places due to various reasons and came up with a novel idea for helping them.
