SAS Nagar Police Arrest Wanted shooter of Goldy Brar and Saba USA

SAS Nagar, November 16, 2023:

In continuation of its drive launched against criminals/gangsters, District SAS Nagar Police got a major breakthrough with the arrest of Gurpal Singh r/o Derrabassi, an operative of Goldy Brar & Saba USA, said Dr Sandeep Garg, IPS, SSP SAS Nagar, today, here.

Briefing the media, the SSP said that during special patrolling in the recent festive period on 6.11.2023, SHO Zirakpur along with his team had arrested Manjeet @ Guri after a brief encounter at VIP road, Zirakpur, while his other associate Gurpal managed to escape from the spot. Guri sustained a bullet injury in the retaliation fire by police party & two pistols were recovered from him.

An FIR no. 331 u/s 307, 353, 186 IPC & 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Zirakpur and preliminary interrogation of Guri revealed that on the directions of foreign based wanted criminals Goldy Brar & Saba USA of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, he along with his associate Gurpal was handed over 03 foreign made pistols along with 30 live cartridges at village Dadrana, college road, Derabassi by two unidentified bike borne persons. They were further tasked to commit some sensational crime in Zirakpur by the foreign based duo.

Divulging more details, the SSP said that a Special opeartion/Hunt was launched by SAS Nagar Police to nab Gurpal. Working on Human/Tech inputs, wanted shooter Gurpal Singh has been arrested, today, early morning, from Village Rankhandi, District Saharanpur (UP) where he was provided hideout by his handlers. A .30 calibre, Chinese pistol along with 5 live cartridges has been recovered from the accused, said Garg by adding that further investigation is in process.
