Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to all the citizens for an alert role for energy conservation. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that today saving electricity is very important. Saving electricity is equivalent to producing electricity. If the electricity is consumed unnecessarily then the burden falls on the government. Electricity should be used only as needed.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that for agriculture and domestic use the government has given subsidy of 21 thousand crores for electricity. The use of excessive electricity also indirectly burdens the general public. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appealed to the general public for cooperation in saving electricity.
