SDAO Zanskar organizes Training camp for SHGs
KARGIL MARCH 02, 2021: The Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) Zanskar organized one day training camp for farmers belonging to the Muslim community Self Help Groups (SHGs) of the Sub-Division at Padum here today.
Officiating Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Tsewang Rigzin, SDAO Zanskar Tsering Nurboo, other concerned officers and officials besides the SHG members were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, the SDAO Zanskar educated the SHGs about the modern techniques of raising field crops.
The farmers were also informed about various schemes implemented by the Agriculture Department Ladakh UT to assist in all possible ways to carry out extension work from laboratory to field and for the maximum welfare of the farmers.
The SDAO asserted that progressive farmers and SHGs should register themselves with the Department of Agriculture for receiving maximum benefits from the government schemes.
