SECRETS ABOUT SHARAD PURNIMA

.Every year we experience around 12 new moon and 12 full moon cycles. When we read about it in Hindu scriptures the concept goes like that a month is divided into two phases based on the different phases of the moon. They are Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. These phases of new moon and full moon are perceived differently by everyone. Some people regard this day very auspicious while others think evil things happen on the full moon.

.Moon is responsible for the high and low tides of the water present on the Earth. On the day of full moon, the Moon’s pull is greatest. On this day plenty of people are found to be restless and may experience suicidal thoughts. Thus, not many people consider full moon a positive thing.

.The reason why people seem restless on the day of full moon is that our body has 85% of water and like the moon pulls the water on the Earth towards itself, it also pulls the water inside our body. This activates the neurons present in our body which can influence our mental health.

.The full moon can also affect our physical health. Specially people who have stomach related issues can be affected badly. They might feel high and out of senses after finishing their food because of the water pull. To avoid it people are often advised to fast on this day. Once our neurons are activated we might not take things practically and would be affected severely by our emotions. The effects can be long term in some cases.

.Another interesting thing is that the rays of moon on a Monday Full Moon are regarded equal to the divine drink of the lords named as Somras. The rays of the moon are as beneficial as Somras on a Monday Full Moon which can heal our body.
