Session on Prayerfulness conducted at MCM

Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, sector 36-A, Chandigarh organized an interactive session ‘Unveiling the Inner Sanctuary through Prayerful Cleansing’ under the aegis of the Character Building Committee in collaboration with Swachhta Committee (Commerce). The event was woven around the themes of the significance of routine prayers, respect for food, and the importance of an early start to the day. The session commenced with a discussion on the importance of routine prayers and how they play a pivotal role in providing spiritual nourishment and a sense of inner peace. Participants were also made aware of the global issue of food scarcity and were urged to consider the environmental and humanitarian aspects of food wastage. Five student ambassadors of the Character Building Committee conducted the sessions and around 80 students participated in the sessions. The principal of the college, Dr. Nisha Bhargava applauded the efforts of the Committees and shared invaluable insights drawing from her vast and rich experiences in life and pursuit of education. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring them to strive for excellence and uphold the values that add value to one’s life and being.
