Chandigarh, March 16 – Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal apprised the House during Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha that there is a Government College in Tauru of Sohna Assembly Constituency with a capacity of 922 students in which 247 girls are studying.
This information was given by Sh. Kanwar Pal in response to a question raised by a MLA during the ongoing Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that 15 Government colleges are already being run in Gurugram and Nuh districts, apart from which 3 State Aided Government colleges and 5 funded colleges are also being run in Gurugram and Nuh districts.
The Education Minister said that four Government Colleges including Government College for Women, Salaheri, Government College Tauru, Government College, Singhawali and Government College, Bissar Akbarpur are located within a distance of 0-21 km from Tauru.
