Party should apologize to farmers of country : NK Sharma

The Shiromani Akali Dal today said that finally Congress party has accepted that it was behind framing of three controversial farm laws against which farmers of the country were protesting since more than a year.

In a statement released here, the SAD Spokesman Mr. NK Sharma said that tweet of Punjab Congress President Navjot Sidhu has brought the cat out of bag. He said that its former Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh was brain behind framing of these laws and on his behalf Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal use to attend meeting of all power Committee of Chief Ministers which framed ordinances which were later converted into three laws.
Mr. Sharma said that now when PPCC Chief has himself admitted that Congress was behind framing of laws, it should tender an apology to farmers of the country for misleading them. He said that people can now themselves wee that it was Congress which was brain behind framing of laws and it continued to attack Akali Dal which made supreme sacrifices for farmers by quitting Union Cabinet and also breaking decades old alliance with BJP. He said that it has been proved that Congress was guilty of an act for which it continued to blame others.
Mr. Sharma said that people of country particularly farmers of Punjab will never forgive Congress party for framing of these laws. He said that these laws have intention to destroy agriculture and later hand over entire business to Corporate houses. He said that never in history of Independent India, such a conspiracy was hatched against food growers of the country.
