Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that as per the guidelines issued by the National Health Authority, Government of India, the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Scheme are being provided to eligible families across the country under AB-PMJY as per the data of Socio-Economic Caste Census-2011 data (urban and rural population).

Sh. Vij was replying to a question raised during the ongoing winter session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He informed that in order to give the benefit of Ayushman Bharat scheme, the government has decided to add other categories besides SECC 11 database. He informed that different categories of families which are not already covered in SECC-2011 PMJAY like construction workers, numberdars, chowkidars and those coming under Mukhyamantri Parivar Smriti Yojana (MMPSY) with annual income less than Rs. 1.80 lakh and those with cultivable land less than 5 acres are proposed to be added with certain eligibility criteria.
He informed that these categories of families are being covered under PMJAY in Haryana and the process is likely to be completed within six months.
