Skill University will become the torchbearer of India’s skill development

Assam Assembly Speaker, Sh. Biswajit Daimary visits Shri Vishwakarma Skill University

Chandigarh, January 6 – The fame of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University Palwal has reached the North-Eastern states. Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly Shri Biswajit Daimary reached the Dudhola campus to visit the university and understand the integrated dual education model. He visited the world class labs set up at Shri Vishwakarma Skill University and announced to send a delegation from Assam to Shri Vishwakarma Skill University in the near future.

        Shri Daimari said that Shri Vishwakarma Skill University will play a pivotal role for the country in the field of skill education. He lauded the vision and leadership of the University for this stupendous achievement and also advocated for granting the status of Institute of National Importance to the University.

        Sh. Biswajit Daimary appreciated the commendable work being done by Vice Chancellor, Sh. Raj Nehru on integrated dual specialized education model. He said that the education model that the country needs has been implemented in Shri Vishwakarma Skill University. He added that this model should be implemented in other parts of the country as well.

        He said that the university is a pioneer in developing the country’s skill ecosystem in line with the new education policy, which seems to be working on a vision on the lines of foreign countries.

        The Vice-Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Sh. Raj Nehru said that the university is always ready to play its role wherever skill education and integrated dual education model is required to be established in the country. He said that the visit of the Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly, to Shri Vishwakarma Skill University will prove to be very effective in starting the chapter of skill education and integrated dual education model in Assam.
