SSP appeals not to upload photo or video with weapons on social media

SSP Mr. Vivek S Soni appealed the district residents not to upload any picture or video on social media displaying weapons, which could harm the peace and harmony. Mr. Soni said that a person of village Bibhor Sahib put a video on instagram two days back showing a gun and threatening some police officers besides using abusive language against them. As the video gone viral, a team of the District Police rushed to his village to arrest him where he also misbehaved and indulged in a scuffle with them, said the SSP adding that the person identified as Harish Sharma had been arrested. A case under section  353, 186, 506, 294 I.P.C.  and 25-54-59 under the Arms Act has been registered against him. He said that the accused had been sent to jail after being presented in the court.

He appealed to the residents of the district that no such photos and videos with weapons to be uploaded on social media platforms otherwise strict action would be initiated.
