KARGIL, NOVEMBER 01, 2021: Two day Seminar/Capacity Building Programme under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav organized by the Department of Social Welfare Kargil in collaboration with Child Protection Services Kargil concluded at Bal Ashram Baroo here today.
The key objective of the two day programme was to impart awareness and do the capacity building of the CCIs Staff on their roles and responsibilities, legislation related to children, child rights, women empowerment and social welfare schemes.
The key resource persons during the programme were Advocate Shahnawaz Ali Chairperson CWC Kargil, Advocate Zarina Banoo Member JJB, Nazir Ahmad Member CWC and Muneer Rasul Wani Counsellor DCPU Kargil.

District Social Welfare Officer Kargil Aga Syed Jamal who was also present on occasion spoke about the initiatives of the Social Welfare Department towards the welfare of the elderly, women and children.
The programme which was conducted under the overall supervision of the District Social Welfare Officer Kargil was attended by around 50 participants.
A group discussion was also held among the CCIs Staff on different issues.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Warden KGBV Minjee.
