State Government has a major objective of industrial development in Mewat region: Dushyant Chautala

Chandigarh, March 17: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala said that the State Government has a major objective of industrial development in Mewat region. Electronic equipment industry will be encouraged in Nuh district.

            While responding to a question during the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha today, Dushyant Chautala said that a large battery company will set up its project in Nuh district, after which mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic industries will also be set up here.

            The Deputy Chief Minister said that a mega project is being set up by M / s ATL with an investment of Rs. 7,083 crore in IMT Sohna and a capacity to generate 7,000 jobs, for which HSIIDC has allotted 178 acres of land. The company plans to invest Rs 7,000 crore in the next few years to supply batteries for industries including smartphones, two-wheeler, and three-wheeler e-vehicles.

            In response to another question, Chautala said that the four-laning of the existing road from Faridabad Bypass Road to KGP Expressway is likely to start from May 2021 and be completed by November 30, 2022.
