JAMMU, Management of Government Medical College Jammu said that the institution has enough stock of Oxygen supply is available to cater to the needs according to patients of covid. Medical Superintendent GMC, Dr Keerti Sharma informed that total 451 oxygen cylinders have been consumed in last 12 hours including 416 in GMC and 35 in CD hospital and also informed that GMC has a stock of about 500 oxygen cylinders.
Providing further details, the Medical Superintendent informed that GMC has total 124 patients out of which 28 are in isolation ward, 15 are in CCU, 34 in ward no 3, 20 in ward no 7 and 27 in HDU. Out of 124 patients 118 are on oxygen supply and Bipap facility.
Similarly, Chest Disease hospital has 34 patients and all have been given oxygen supply facility. The Gandhi Nagar hospital has no patient. He further informed that three deaths have also been reported in GMC in last 24 hours.
