Strict action against criminal elements
July 1
CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given instructions that law and order should be strictly enforced in the state. There should be fear of the administration in the minds of criminal elements whereas people should have faith in the administration. Madhya Pradesh is an island of peace, there is no such place for any anti social and criminal elements. CM Shri Chouhan said that the Nemavar murder case is the most heinous crime. The accused have been seen and strictest punishment will be given to the culprits by filing a case against them in the fast track court. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was taking a high level meeting regarding law and order at his residence today. Home Minister Shri Narottam Mishra, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johri and all concerned officers were present in the meeting. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that I am deeply saddened by the Nemavar incident. Those who have committed this crime are barbarians, they will not be spared at all and will be given the harshest punishment.
