Chandigarh, August 31 – Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today strongly condemned the vandalism of a church at Thakkarpura village in Tarn Taran as well as subsequent acts of violence including setting fire to the car of a Pastor.
Asserting that such heinous acts of sacrilege were unpardonable, the SAD President said exemplary punishment should be meted out to the culprits. He also appealed to Punjabis to exercise restraint and accord due respect to all religions in keeping with the teachings of the Guru Sahiban. EOM
